On May 2nd, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. We spent the day outside, separating weeds from soil. The soil will be reused. Volunteers did this with many pots of old soil, including boxes of plants that have died and had no use. Volunteers also spent time organizing plant tags, and putting stickers on them. We ended the day by cleaning and sweeping the farm.
