From 7am to 12pm, AYLUS Bellaire volunteered at the Bellaire Robotics Team Garage Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, February 28. The fundraiser is meant to support the Bellaire High School robotics team (Impact 2585) to fund their robot and material expenses to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
AYLUS members helped unpack boxes from cars and setup the garage sale alongside one of the team member’s driveway. Items included shoes, food/drinks, clothing, jewelry, games, keyboards, bags, and more. Members also helped label items using stickers with the prices for each of the items, while others held up signs along the street intersections to advertise to passing cars.
Overall, the fundraiser was a success thanks to the AYLUS members! Nearly all items were sold.
