On May 2, 2026, youth volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch gathered at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga for a meaningful day of community service dedicated to supporting local families in need. Volunteers arrived early in the morning and worked from 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM, each contributing 5.5 hours of service to the community.
Throughout the event, volunteers assisted with the center’s food distribution efforts by sorting fresh produce, organizing canned food donations, and preparing grocery packages for families experiencing food insecurity. Their hard work helped ensure that essential food items were efficiently organized and ready for distribution to community members.
The event required strong teamwork, responsibility, and attention to detail, all of which the volunteers consistently demonstrated during the service project. By collaborating closely with one another, they completed tasks efficiently while gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of nonprofit organizations and food assistance programs within the local community.
Beyond providing practical support, the experience also allowed volunteers to reflect on the impact of service and the value of helping others. Their dedication and compassion brought encouragement to families in need and created a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
This project highlights the continued commitment of the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch to serving the community and making a positive difference through volunteerism. Through their teamwork and dedication, these youth volunteers demonstrated how small acts of service can create meaningful and lasting impact.
