AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivery! Food Pantry (107th) on December 22nd, 2025

On Monday, December 22nd, the Aylus Roslyn Branch volunteered at Nosh Delivers!, a food pantry dedicated to providing food to those in need.

We started our session by splitting up into two groups. One group helped with sorting and packaging groceries that had just come in, sorting them into smaller boxes for more efficient storage and clarity. The other group helped in-person shoppers who came in to get stuff off the shelves. We made sure each person took the correct amount, as well as restocking shelves whenever we were free. Following that, we packaged NOSH bags with breakfast and lunch supplies for children and restocked and consolidated them on the shelves. We ended up making more than necessary, so we put the extras on the second floor for future use. We then separated into individual groups, helping around the pantry with everyday tasks such as taking out the trash, bringing in supplies, organizing and restocking the shelves, and breaking down boxes for storage. As we were about to finish, the manager let us know there was a sudden time crunch, but we still completed the required tasks. Everyone was very grateful for our work (especially the manager, who appreciated our ability to adapt to the time crunch) and for our help. We had a pleasant experience overall and would love to come back again.
