The AYLUS Birmingham Branch frequently partners with Grace Klein, an organization dedicated to sharing resources for the purpose of building relationships to ignite restoration of individuals, families, and communities. Grace Klein holds drive-thru sites to fight food insecurities and provides a variety of other resources for families, including baby products as well as school supplies for children. The organization also has community homes, where it hosts individuals in need of a place to stay and provides resources for them to thrive.
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, two AYLUS members volunteered with Grace Klein for their annual Papa J’s Workshop. Each year they provide Christmas gifts for underserved families. This year AYLUS volunteers helped with setting up and restocking the gifts to make sure the tables were full the entire day.
