On December 7, 2025, the Roslyn AYLUS Branch held its first CP Nassau CLC Toy Drive. This event took place in the basement of a volunteer’s home, where members gathered to help collect, organize, and pack toys for children in need.
During the drive, members worked together to sort donated toys and carefully pack them into boxes. Once everything was ready, the boxes were carried upstairs and loaded into the cars of volunteers. The toys were then delivered to CP Bayville and will later be transported to the CP Nassau Child Learning Center, where they will be given to students attending the facility.
The volunteers were busy but positive, with everyone helping out and supporting one another. It was great to see how smoothly the first event came together through teamwork. Even though the tasks were simple, knowing the toys would bring happiness to children made the experience feel special and rewarding.
This toy drive was a meaningful first step for the CP Nassau CLC project, and it showed how much can be accomplished when people come together for a good cause. The Roslyn AYLUS Branch looks forward to continuing this partnership and helping more students in the future.
