On Tuesday December 16th, Aylus high school volunteers gathered from 6:00 to 7:00PM at Great Neck Station Library to tutor and assist younger students with their studies. During this session, Brian helped a 7th grader with social studies topics such as the civil war, as well as science topics about cells. Meanwhile, Summer Lu helped a student with math, specifically multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. Junlin helped a student learn various math topics such as how to analyze number lines and how to do operations with decimals. In conclusion, the tutoring session was efficient and benefitted many students with their studies.
