On September 4th, 2025, volunteers from AYLUS-Chapel Hill had the honor of delivering a thoughtful donation to the N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital. Our members created colorful origami pieces and handmade heart-shaped pillows, each crafted with care and carrying a message of hope and encouragement. The hospital staff received the gifts with heartfelt appreciation.
As a youth-led organization, AYLUS-Chapel Hill is committed to extending both our hands and hearts to support cancer patients and their families at the N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital. We believe that even small handmade items can uplift spirits, provide comfort, and remind patients that they are not alone in their journey. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the hospital community and look forward to continuing similar projects that spread compassion and positivity in the future.
