On Sunday, June 1st , from 1:45-3:15 pm, the Great Neck Branch gathered together to support and help the therapeutic ice-skating programat the Andrew Stergiopoulous rink.
Today we continued to help skaters to learn new techniques and also to help them practice more of their skating skills. Each volunteer work very hard and work very well with the skaters. To demonstrate the new moves and teach skaters hand on hand is very helpful. Through the volunteering session we enthusiastically cheered for each other’s accomplishments. Skaters learn new moves and spins we are all very happy.
