On 4/1/2025, 2 members of the AYLUS Newtown branch assisted the Caring For Friends kitchen staff by helping prepare frozen meals to support homebound people. From 6 PM to 8 PM, volunteers worked together to assemble meals and ensure that every item was prepared with care and attention to detail.
Volunteers worked collaboratively in an assembly line, each assigned specific responsibilities at different stages of the meal preparation process. Throughout the volunteer period, they carried out their tasks swiftly and efficiently, ensuring maximum meal production without compromising quality. Their teamwork and dedication optimized the workflow, guaranteeing that meals were promptly prepared for distribution.
The event was highly successful, with volunteers showing strong collaboration and a shared commitment to helping the community. Everyone enjoyed the experience of working in the kitchen and contributing to Caring For Friends’ cause.
2 members of the AYLUS Newtown branch each spent 2 hours participating in the event. They were: Daniel Tang (Event Leader) and Edward Soong.
