Edison Branch, May 5th, 2019
The AYLUS Edison Branch conducted the event at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home on May 5th, 2019. Xin Chen, Zhuocheng Prince Hu, Peini Angela Hu, Qin Zhang and Anmei Deng went to the Veteran memorial Home, shared the school news and Youth day stories with the seniors friends. The Seniors also showed their own old pictures and reminded of their stories. They transported the disabled seniors to the town square before the music group’s performance started. They enjoyed the music and danced together with seniors, shared the colorful sweet Italy ice, talking to the seniors and listening to them carefully. Finally they transported the seniors back respectively. Anmei Deng was responsible for taking pictures during the afternoon. The AYLUS Edison Branch are happy to share joy with the community and appreciate the stories of the elderly.
