Throughout January 2025, AYLUS Pearland volunteers actively prepared for a series of Lunar New Year celebrations set to take place on the first three weekends of February. Collaborating with community partners, they took on key responsibilities to ensure the events would be a seamless success.
• Emma A. Lu and Kara Li: Designed banners and posters for cultural booths and sponsors.
• Sulan Yang: Created promotional flyers to raise awareness.
• Christy Zheng: Coordinated with 8 student groups and organizations to curate a lineup of performances, including dragon dances, lion dances, ribbon dances, vocal acts, martial arts, and instrumental performances at Pearland Town Center.
• Aila Jiang: Oversaw the procurement of necessary event supplies.
