On December 26th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped with the Temecula Rotary Club’s Christmas Dinner.
Since the slots for helping in the kitchen were all full, members decided to help with the dinner delivery. After arriving, members signed in and were assigned to a certain apartment to pass out dinners, and they were told all the residents at the apartments were seniors. There were 21 dinners in total to pass out and members split the dinners to make passing them out more efficient. When arrived at the apartment, members were asked to ask the residents if they would like blankets as well to be brought to them. The seniors were very happy to see the surprise dinners and enjoyed a chat with members before saying goodbye. Members were happy to be able to provide the seniors with a little surprise and will do it again next year.
