On Sunday, December 8th, volunteers from the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch and the Chinese-American Friendship Association of NC (CAFA) came together for a trash cleanup event at Jordan Lake. The group worked along the shoreline, focusing on removing litter and reducing pollution in the area. Their hard work paid off as they collected a large amount of trash, making a visible impact on the lake’s environment.
The volunteers left the event feeling accomplished, proud to have helped preserve the natural beauty of the lake. With this successful cleanup behind them, the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch looks forward to continuing their efforts in future environmental projects and contributing to a cleaner, healthier community.
