On the afternooon of September 14, 2024, AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch gathered at zTAO Supermarket for a fundraising event. Funds raised from the event will help fund the African Libraries project and the Children’s Medical Center in Plano. Volunteers were assigned to various different tasks, such as making boba tea, making mango tea, making cotton candy, making balloon art, and selling jewelry among other tasks. Many volunteers learned new things through this event, like learning how to make balloon art, cotton candy, and boba tea. Volunteers also learned to work together to handle tasks and overall, managed to serve a large number of community members through their hard work. The event was very successful with AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch fundraising a lot of profits for various other projects and with community members being served.
