Riverside County AYLUS Members Volunteer at a Local Senior Home on July 10th, 2024

On July 10th, RCA Members returned to a local senior home to assist them with their entertainment program. Senior care homes often have daily activities to keep the residents busy and entertained. On this day, they had scheduled a business-related club meeting. A successful business, in this case it was Fender Guitars, was introduced to the residents via a presentation that the RCA members read out and presented to the group of residents that attended. They then discussed the background of the founder and how the business became successful and started a discussion among the attendants what they had experienced in their lives that made their own businesses grow and what they had learned during the hard times of running their own successful companies.
After the club meeting was over the group moved onto hosting several rounds of Bingo which is an activity many of the residents enjoy. The RCA members read out the numbers and cheered for any matches. Once the activity was done, the members helped putting back together the game and cleaned up the tables.
