On July 10, 2024, AYLUS members recycled bottles at a local recycling center to raise money for charity.
The volunteers Arrived recycling center at early morning, they started sorting the bottles and cans into the types of plastics, aluminum, glass and scrap. Then the volunteers isolated the different types recycling into separate bins and brought bins to weigh station. After weighing and counting the various bins, they signed off and were able to earn $13.55 dollars for their efforts. The money will go towards buying supplies such as food and toys for local animal shelters in the future.

On July 10th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS brought their bottles and cans to recycle.
Members brought over the plastic buckets to put their recyclables in. They sorted bottles into one, aluminum into another, and put the different bottles in bags. After weighing in all the buckets, members earned a total of $12.28 and will save it for their next animal shelter visit.
