On July 4th, Sophie Chung, Holiday Rothermund, Evan and Kyan Chang volunteered at the local senior home. Many of the residents were dressed up for the occasion and even the horses of the horse race games had patriotic costumes on. The seniors placed their bets on the different horses and then threw the 2 dice. Several rounds were played. RCA members assisted with moving the horses and handing the dice to the elderly. It was a fun activity and the seniors were all engaged and happy. After the games were done, Sophie Chung handed out some of the handmade cards she had drawn and handwritten to celebrate the occasion. The group then moved onto the dining hall, where they prepared to set-up the tables for the dinner service.
