On the afternoon of July 3, 2024, the 2nd AYLUS robotics class was hosted in the Hua Xia Chinese School with 11 students and 3 AYLUS teachers attending it. The students were split into 2 groups with 4 and 9 each and were given a Spike Prime set to use. The teachers used a PowerPoint they made that taught about gear trains, gear ratios, and torque. During the presentation, the students made a gear train. After it, one group attempted to make a driving base using their new knowledge about it and the other made a fast spinning fan. In conclusion, the event was a success as most students learned about the topics.
