On the evening of June 29, 2024 , the 2nd AYLUS robotics class was hosted in the West Pearland public library with 6 students and 5 AYLUS teachers attending it. The students were split into 2 groups of 3 each and were given a Spike Prime set to use. The teachers used a PowerPoint they made that taught about gear trains, gear ratios, and torque. During the presentation, the students made a gear train then calculated the gear ratio of it. After it, the students made a driving base using their new knowledge about it and raced each other. In conclusion, the event was a success as most students learned about the topics.
