Chapel Hill Branch Volunteers to Collect Flowers for Charles House on June 16, 2024

On Sunday, June 16, 2024, two members of AYLUS Chapel Hill stepped forward to support Charles House by collecting blossoms kindly provided by the neighborhood Trader Joe’s. These delightful flowers were then carefully conveyed to Charles House, a community-based nonprofit focused on eldercare and aiding those with dementia. Nestled within the Carol Woods Retirement Community, Charles House is dedicated to uplifting the spirits of the elderly. This coming Monday, the seniors will engage with these lovely blooms in a creative art project. We wholeheartedly believe that these floral gifts will spark joy and enhance the well-being of our cherished senior residents. Our dedication to nurturing the health and happiness of the elderly is unwavering, and we look forward to more joint endeavors.

Volunteers who participated in this event were Alwin Liu (1.5 hours) and Eric Sun (1.5 hours).
