Frisco & Plano Branch Volunteering at McKinney Library Comic Con on June 22 2024

Today on June 22, we went to participate in the Comic Con event held at McKinney Library. We got there early to make sure we had enough time to set up before the event started. This included setting up a tent, some tables and taking out some chairs for the face painting, along with our bracelets and rings. After we finished setting up, there was still some time before most of the people arrived, so we spent that time wisely, making some balloons animals and setting those aside for later. The rest of the process was pretty simple as most of us already knew what we had to do. We stayed at our stations prompting our products and AYLUS. During the event, we also sent out some members with balloon animals into the library trying to get more customers to our stand. During this event our face paint was so popular that we developed a line. This made it hard for us to track who had paid and who hadn’t. So this is definitely something we can learn from and improve next time. Overall, this was a great experience in which we can build of to make our next event even better and smoother.
