AYLUS Auburn Branch volunteered for Art for Young Children on June 17, 18, 20 and 21, 2024

Between June 17th and June 21st, 2024, AYLUS Auburn Branch volunteered for the Auburn City Art Summer Camp, Art for Young Children (location: Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC), 222 E Drake Ave, Auburn, AL 36830). Art for Young Children is an art camp with emphasis on aesthetics and the process of creating art, providing a supportive and creative learning environment where instruction is collaborative and taught by experienced artists and art educators.

Our group volunteered for camp planning (June 17), running, and organization (June 18, 20, and 21st). We are grateful for the volunteer opportunity provided by JDCAC. It was a wonderful experience to assist art experts and interact with young children.

Our members who volunteered for the Art for Young Children are

June 17th: Annie Bao (1.25 hours), Victoria Choo (1.25 hours), and Hannah Kwon-Larson (1.25 hours).

June 18th: Annie Bao (2.5 hours), Will Bao (0.5 hour), Victoria Choo (2.5 hours), and Hannah Kwon-Larson (2.5 hours).

June 20th: Annie Bao (2.5 hours), Will Bao (0.5 hour), Victoria Choo (2.5 hours), and Hannah Kwon-Larson (2.5 hours).

June 21st: Annie Bao (2 hours), Victoria Choo (2 hours), and Hannah Kwon-Larson (2 hours).
