One June 9, 2024 AYLUS members had a beach clean up. They started by going down the road to search for any trash people may have tossed from their cars. They then went to start cleaning on the park. There, they found a number of loose articles including trash bags, chips, and more. Then as they advanced to the park, they found a plastic bottle filled with sand which they properly disposed of. Finally, the members made their way back to the road where they collected even more garbage along the paths which included crawling through a bush to reach a bag full of recyclable goods. They made sure to safely and carefully dispose of all trash in the proper bin.
