The Birmingham Branch of AYLUS regularly volunteers at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the gardens, as well as with regular seasonal events.
On November 18, AYLUS members created a trench behind the Natives lath house at the Botanical Gardens to redirect water flow. Although wet and muddy, all the volunteers had a great time digging out the trench and wheelbarrowing the dirt out of the lath house.
