The Magic City Half Marathon is Alabama’s premier fall race and hosts thousands of runners annually. On November 19, the AYLUS Birmingham Branch volunteered at the 2023 Magic City Half Marathon and 5K. Members helped participants store their belongings before the event and assisted with their retrieval after the race ended. During the race itself, AYLUS volunteers filled cups of water and Gatorade and distributed them, as well as energy bars, to the runners.
