Several RCA members got together on January 5th to serve a local food bank in the area. After signing the necessary paperwork and being advised by the manager the members got to work in the warehouse. The first task the members were assigned to was to pack household items into plastic bags so that they could made available to people in need. The group started with an empty pumpkin bin. They created an assembly line to pack the items and within a few hours the members were able to pack all the items that were made available to them while filling two huge bins. Then they were instructed to organize and repack some of the fruits into boxes to be put back into the refrigerated section. In the end the members swept the floor and cleaned the packing station before heading back home.
