On December 31st, the Greater Princeton & Far Beyond Branch of AYLUS (GPA) hosted an Open to Public AYLUS Scholar Network Conference to promote youth volunteerism.
AYLUS Scholar Network Convener, GPA Branch Founder, Chair, and National Honorary President Cassie Wang, now a Sophomore at Columbia University majoring in Art History and Economics, invited her friends, Alissa Wu, former branch and national president, now a Freshman at Duke majoring in computer science; Catherine Feng, the Art Editor-In-Chief of AYLUS Times, a Freshman at Harvard majoring in biomedical science; Amy Xu, former business committee chair, and now a Freshman at Johns Hopkins majoring Premed; current National President Lana Cheng, recently admitted by Johns Hopkins to major in molecular biology, and more, gave speeches at the First Network Conference and shared their study and volunteering experience before entering and currently at their colleges, with many conference attendance, who were AYLUS members or non-AYLUS member students and their parents.
