On January 28th, Middlesex branch members went to clear piles of built-up tree logs along a marsh’s frontal view in Lexington. Using saws, pruning shears, and makeshift stretchers, the members worked vigorously for hours diassembling heaps of branches. The goal, which is to offer a better view of the marsh and clear invasive species, is achieved thanks to diligent and efficient work; this marks the second collaboration with local plant nursery and preservation personnels, and we hope to continue such events.
