On December 28th, 2022, AYLUS Murrieta members went to go collect bottles and cans from their local neighborhood. This time, members decided to go to a new neighborhood, so before starting, they mapped out the neighborhood and marked the houses they would go to. Members got many positive responses from the homeowners and the ones that didn’t have any recyclables promised they would save some for the members the next time they visited. Members had to climb some hills to get to the houses on the top of the street but those houses had the most recyclables for members so it was worth it. When they were finished they collected a full bag of recyclables. Members had a good time and can’t wait till next time.
