AYLUS Glen Head Uses Music to Brighten the Lives of Seniors | November 8, 2026

On November 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, AYLUS Glen Head hosted another musical outreach gathering, creating a welcoming space where student performers and senior residents could enjoy music, share experiences, and connect through the arts.

Our student musicians showcased their talents through piano, violin, and cello performances. The program included a diverse collection of classical works, recognizable favorites, and seasonal selections, offering residents an opportunity to enjoy different musical styles. We also provided brief introductions to the composers and their musical contributions, helping residents discover the stories, historical backgrounds, and artistic expressions behind the performances.

Throughout the event, we valued the smiles, reactions, and engagement of the residents. Their enthusiasm encouraged our young performers and reminded us that music can communicate emotions and create connections beyond words. These visits also allow us to develop patience, confidence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the importance of serving others.

We are proud to use our musical abilities to contribute to the well-being of our community. By bringing different generations together through live performances, we hope to make each visit a memorable experience and establish a continuing tradition of artistic sharing, friendship, and compassionate community service.
