On October 18, 2026, AYLUS Chapel Hill volunteers turned fabric and paper into thoughtful gifts for patients. Over several hours, they cut and sewed fabric, assembled heart-shaped pillows, and folded origami, putting care and effort into each handmade creation.
The pillows and origami gifts are meant to bring a little extra warmth and cheer to patients and their families. The volunteers hope each gift serves as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a difference.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Alwin Liu (6 hours), Camille Wang (6 hours), Eli Tan (6 hours), Leah Yang (6 hours), and William Xing (6 hours).
