On October 24, 2026, volunteers from the Austin Branch continued the creek cleanups. The team actively cleared out accumulated pollutants along the banks and water, specifically targeting plastic or metal waste. Removing this hazardous debris is essential for maintaining clean water and defending the fragile habitats of native species like the Golden-cheeked Warbler and the Springs Salamander. Through these ongoing environmental efforts, we continue to sustain a safe, thriving ecosystem for both wildlife and local residents. Volunteers: Michael Qu (4 hours), Liana Chen (4 hours)
