On Monday, October 12th, AYLUS volunteers helped sort and organize multiple materials, such as food items and holiday materials.
Coming in at 9 a.m, volunteers began sorting out lunch/breakfast bags, packaging them with various food items to be used for the next day.
Later, they sorted through various materials, sectioning them into their specified holidays. Additionally, they also packaged and shelved various kinds of beans to be used later on.
Overall, the experience was productive and nice. The staff were very nice and kind, being attentive whenever there was confusion. Nosh’s efforts in providing food for those in the community are wonderful, and volunteering for them helped us provide help to those in need.
