On Saturday, October 3rd 2026, members of AYLUS Roslyn visited the CP Nassau residents at a residential home
At the start, the residents and the volunteers did arts and crafts, and decorated beautiful lanterns. This made the residents very happy, so we kept doing it for half an hour. After that we started making cookies. The residents helped make the dough for the cookies, and we set it to rest for half an hour. While the dough rested, the residents and volunteers worked together to solve and complete puzzles. After that activity, we started baking the cookies, and while we waited we all played uno. After finishing, everyone enjoyed the cookies. Volunteering at CP Nassau continues to be a rewarding experience for us. It allows us to connect with individuals with disabilities, offering companionship and support while also encouraging patience, empathy, and teamwork. We look forward to our next visit and another opportunity to bring smiles to the residents of CP Nassau!
