On Tuesday, October 6th, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch hosted another productive tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library. Summer Lu tutored a student on English ENL, while Elaine Xing worked with a middle school student on math. Brian Zhang assisted students with their French homework and chemistry on types of matter. Junlin Yu helped with vocabulary and writing, and Olivia Kang worked with a third grader on English reading and writing. Meanwhile, Xingzhi Li helped another student with English and American history. Lastly, Siwoo Song oversaw a student practicing for the AMC 8, while Joseph Pan taught math, social studies, and science to a 7th grader. Overall, it was another successful session, with all of the volunteers helping students make progress in their studies. The next session will continue on October 8th.
