AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteers for Accessible Art Program (24th) 9/28/2026

On September 28th, 2026, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm, volunteers from the AYLUS Great Neck Branch met at the Great Neck House for the Accessible Art Program. During this program, we organized the storage room with Cindy, then we helped people with special needs explore their creativity through making paper mosaics of their names. We cut up colorful crafting paper to construct pretty letters and designs.

The session was a lot of fun, and all of us enjoyed working while socializing. This experience showed us the value of community service and how art helps people build creative art pieces and form relationships. Through these activities, they really enjoyed themselves and were proud of their artworks.

We are grateful to support the AYLUS mission and look forward to more creative volunteer work. We are very thankful for the chance to serve the community and help those in need through these fun programs.
