Chapel Hill Volunteers Make Heart Pillows and Origami Gifts for Patients on September 20, 2026

On September 20, 2026, volunteers from the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch gathered to make heart-shaped pillows and origami gifts for patients. Volunteers spent several hours cutting fabric, sewing, assembling the pillows, and folding origami.
The handmade gifts were made to bring some comfort and cheer to patients and their families. The volunteers hope the pillows and origami will brighten their day and let them know that people in the community care about them.

Volunteers included Alwin Liu (6 hours), Camille Wang (6 hours), Daniel Liu (6 hours), Eli Tan (6 hours), Leah Yang (6 hours), and William Xing (3 hours).
