Riverside County AYLUS Members participated San Diego Beach Clean Up on August 6th, 2026

On Aug 6th, 2026 Two members of AYLUS Riverside participated beach cleanup service project in San Diego. They first visited Mission Bay, where they found a large amount of litter along the beach and walking paths. Some of the trash had been left behind by people fishing and gathering in the area. They also observed people living in vehicles near the beach, and the surrounding area was quite cluttered and in need of cleanup.  They continued to another nearby beach that was busier, with many visitors and surfers. They found additional litter along the beach and walking paths. They walked through the area, collected trash, and helped clean and organize the surroundings to make the beach and pathways cleaner and more pleasant for the community. The cleanup activity lasted approximately 2 hours. Through this service project, They helped improve the cleanliness of the local beaches and developed a greater awareness of environmental responsibility and the importance of caring for the environment.
