AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at ALFC Generosity Center on 09/26/26

On September 26, 2026, members of the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch volunteered at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The service event focused on helping the center organize food donations and prepare supplies for families in the community. Volunteers worked from 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM, with each participant completing 5.5 hours of service.

During the event, volunteers assisted with different parts of the food preparation process. They sorted newly donated fruits and vegetables, organized canned and packaged foods, and assembled grocery bags for distribution. By helping with these tasks, the volunteers made it easier for the center to keep donations organized and ready for families to receive.

The volunteers worked together throughout the morning, sharing responsibilities and helping one another when needed. This allowed them to complete their tasks efficiently while practicing teamwork and communication. The experience also provided an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work involved in running a community food assistance program.
