On Sep. 05, 2026, the AYLUS Murrieta Branch donated books to the Little Libraries in the Morgan Hill community.
Temecula Community Little Library system serves as a vibrant, grassroots testament to the city’s enduring love for reading and community connection. Rooted in a local literacy tradition that dates back to a tiny 1874 schoolhouse collection, today’s neighborhood book-sharing boxes offer a modern twist on a historic passion.
Operated entirely on the simple, honor-system principle of “Take a book, share a book,” these charming, miniature neighborhood hubs complement Temecula’s major public library branches. They stand as beautifully crafted visual fixtures across local parks, residential streets, and community spaces – inviting neighbors of all ages to discover new stories, share their favorite reads, and foster a tightly knit culture of literacy right outside their front doors.
