On Saturday, September 12th, members of the AYLUS Syosset Branch, including Alan Mu, Justin Wu, Brayden Wan, Lucas Yim, and William Sun volunteered at a farm market event at Parking Field 8 of Eisenhower Park. Volunteers worked in three shifts: 7:30–11:00 AM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, and 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. During the event, we worked together to set up and take down tents, place activity flags, and manage the kids’ game booth. We also helped older people carry their belongings to their cars, helped children join fun activities, and assisted visitors with signing up for the event. At the end, we helped clean up and put away the supplies. Everyone worked together, communicated with visitors, and helped each other throughout the morning. This experience taught us responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of helping our local community. We hope our work helped make the event run smoothly and created a positive experience for everyone.
