On September 19, 2026, youth volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch spent the morning volunteering at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The group came together to assist with the center’s food distribution efforts and support families in the local community. Volunteers worked from 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM, completing 5.5 hours of service each.
Throughout the morning, volunteers took on several responsibilities to help organize food donations. They sorted fresh produce, arranged canned and packaged goods, and prepared grocery bundles for families who would receive them. Careful organization helped make sure the donated food was ready for distribution.
The volunteers worked closely with one another to complete each task. The experience encouraged them to practice teamwork, communication, and responsibility while learning more about how a community food distribution center operates. Their work also gave them a chance to contribute directly to an organization serving local residents.
After completing their tasks, volunteers reflected on the importance of using their time to support others. Although each task was simple, working together allowed the group to accomplish more and contribute to the center’s daily operations.
