On Saturday, September 5th, members of the AYLUS Syosset Branch, including Selina Lin, Lucas Yim, Hoiki Woo, William Sun, Alan Mu, and ZhengLong Hu, took part in a volunteer activity at Parking Field 8 of Eisenhower Park. Volunteers worked in three different shifts: 7:30–11:00 AM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, and 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. During the activity, volunteers helped with many different tasks. Some helped set up the event, while others helped older people carry their things to their cars. Some volunteers also helped children join fun activities so they could have a good time and not get bored. Others helped people sign up for the event and helped clean up and put away the supplies at the end. Everyone worked together to help others and make the event better. We hope our work was helpful to everyone and made a positive difference.
