On September 10, 2026, Pearland Youth Volunteers volunteered at Westside library to help prepare for the September book sale. The volunteers assisted library staff by moving books, flattening boxes, replenishing lobby shelves. Standing, lifting and moving .
The volunteers worked together checked if the donated books are in good conditions. They also priced, sorted and organized the donated books. The donated materials easier for the community to browse and purchase during the sale.
