On August 23, 2026, Chapel Hill Branch members baked homemade cookies for Meals on Wheels. Volunteers prepared the cookies in their own kitchens and then packaged and delivered them to the organization. We hope the cookies brought a little extra joy to local seniors and homebound individuals who receive Meals on Wheels deliveries.
This service project allowed volunteers to contribute to the community and support the important work of Meals on Wheels.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Alwin Liu (6 hours baking + 0.85 hour packaging), Andrew Zhao (2.5 hours), Eli Tan (6 hours), and Kathy Li (6 hours).
