On Monday, August 24th, AYLUS members helped shelve and filter through various food items at the NOSH food pantry.
Volunteers started at 9 am, working together to pack food items such as mixed vegetables and beans into various bags to ship out.
Throughout the day, volunteers continued, organizing canned goods into boxes and shelving pastries. Additionally, they sorted through different fruits and vegetables to use for later use.
Overall, the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, guiding the way throughout the work. NOSH is a great help in feeding those in need throughout the community, and volunteering for them helped us make a difference.
