On Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st, AYLUS Twin Cities hosted a computer science workshop. On the 20th, they taught 3 elementary schoolers and 1 middle schooler Scratch. The students learned about motion, costumes, sprites, backdrops, sounds, and a lot more! The next day, all 4 students returned for the python workshop. There, they learned about functions, loops, variables, and drawing with python. It was a really fun experience for both the AYLUS volunteers and students, and we hope to do it again next year!
