AYLUS Art Volunteers Bring Creative Fun to Hua Xia Summer Camp! ️
On August 6, four high school volunteers from the AYLUS Art Group visited the Hua Xia Chinese School Summer Camp to lead another fun-filled afternoon of drawing classes!
The volunteers tailored the lessons to fit the different age groups:
Older Class: The students sketched the beloved Nintendo dinosaur Yoshi and the classic and adorable Doraemon. Younger Class: The little artists traced the outlines of their own hands on paper, then transformed the handprints into a dinosaur or wolf.
Across the classrooms, our four volunteers patiently guided the children, offered encouraging tips, and helped everyone color and detail their artwork.
Both classes were full of energy and imagination, and all 25 campers proudly showed off their finished creations at the end. A big thank you to our dedicated high schoolers for another successful session of art and fun!
