On August 18th, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another successful tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. To begin, Brian helped a seventh-grade student with summer reading, helping him brainstorm new ideas. Next, Summer worked with a third-grader student on art skills, teaching how to draw realistic portraits. Junlin also worked with a student on reading, helping them practice and better understand the material. Lastly, Olivia worked with another student on English, focusing on reading comprehension. Overall, it was another excellent tutoring session. All the students completed their work at a fast pace, and everyone had a great time. The tutoring sessions will continue on Thursday, August 20.
